Melbourne Legacy provides help and support to the families of veterans who have given their health or life while serving their country.
Our support for the families of veterans is facilitated through the delivery of programs and services, access to education grants, general financial and welfare assistance as required.
We have a team of professional welfare Case Managers at the ready to provide intensive case management and advocacy services for you and your family. Our support is tailored to suit each situation and focuses on building resilience.
Our enrolment is easy three-step process:
Melbourne Legacy may be able to provide financial assistance in certain situations to eligible Legacy Beneficiaries. Some examples include:
Eligibility- Eligibility can be determined through the presentation of a DVA gold card, a MyService summary of accepted conditions or a medical discharge certificate.
Intake – Complete an intake form with a case manager over the phone or face-to-face.
- Assessment – Work with your case manager to assess what programs, services and assistance best suits your needs
Once you are enrolled with us you are enrolled for life! (unless you request otherwise).
