As we approach ANZAC Day, Melbourne Legacy is focused on one clear priority.
As we face uncertain times, Legacy is ready to support the growing number of families who will need us in the months and years ahead.
In early 2026, Legacy expanded its eligibility so more families can access support. Families of veterans who have lost their health through service are now eligible, regardless of operational deployment.
This change reflects a simple truth. That the impact of service is not just defined by where it happened. It is felt at home, often over many years, and often carried by families.
This means more families can now reach out for support. It also means demand is growing.
More families needing guidance. More children needing support. More households navigating uncertainty, grief and change.

Donation FAQs
All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. Eligibility for claiming tax deductible donations depends on your personal tax position.
Yes, tax receipts are provided for all donations.
If you are a Regular Giver, you will receive an annual donation summary at the end of each financial year. You can use your receipt to claim your tax deduction if you are eligible.
For one-off donations you will receive your donation receipt immediately to the email you provided while making your donation.
If you are a Regular Giver you can update all personal details by login into your Donor Account here.
If you like occasionally making one-off donations and would like to update your details for future fundraising communications, please contact us via supporters@melbournelegacy.com.au, or call us on (03) 8626 0500.
Your Regular Gift will start on the day you sign-up via our online form, and then on the same date of the month of your chosen frequency (month, quarterly, or yearly) until you choose to make any changes to your Regular Giving arrangement.
