Having a gratitude jar has proven benefits, it opens doors to relationships, as well as improving health, sleep, self-esteem and mental strength.
The mind tends to find the negatives easier than it finds the positives. A gratitude jar is a simple way to change the way you view your life. A gratitude jar trains your mind to focus on the good. All it takes is five minutes and the want to create a positive change.
We encourage you to take five minutes out of your busy day to reflect and think of a list of things that you are grateful for, delve deep and ask yourself why you are grateful for each thing.
While you have these thoughts, write them down.
It can be difficult starting a gratitude jar, but each time you add to it, it will become easier to identify what you are grateful for. Aim to write at least two things that you are grateful for, then progress to five and place them in a jar. As each day goes by, your jar will fill up.

Once you’ve come up with your main gratitude for the day, go a bit deeper into why you chose it. Gratitude is a powerful emotion that instantly washes away stress and tension.

Write down on a slip of paper what you’re grateful for and why.
KEEP IT IN YOUR JAR.
Seeing your gratitude jar filled with all your slips of gratitude is a great visual reminder of all the good things you have in your life.
SHARE IT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
Sharing your gratitude practice with another person is amazingly powerful.
Sharing your gratitude jar with someone can be extremely empowering. By sharing your thoughts, you may encourage someone else to start their jar. However, your gratitude jar is personal, you can choose what you wish to do with it.
