STACK Infrastructure is a Data Centre builder operating in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. Led by the efforts of Alex Maravelias, STACK raised $10,361.60 during the week leading up to ANZAC Day. They did so through selling Legacy badges, running a raffle, and encouraging staff and suppliers to donate directly through QR codes set up across the workplace. Alex, who manages Environment, Health and Safety at STACK, is passionate about supporting the local community within which STACK operate. Alex is responsible for safety at STACK and says the organisation prides itself on making sure everyone returns home safely to their families.
The work Legacy does to ensure there is a safety net for Defence families resonates strongly with us.” Alex reflected on the motive behind the fundraiser.
CDC Data Centres and Built Australia ran an ANZAC Day fundraiser on Thursday 23rd April that raised an incredible $10,871.30 in support of Melbourne Legacy. The event, held at CDC’s campus on Leakes Road, Laverton North saw huge support from construction workers on site.
Organised by Junior Legatee Meiling Egan and supported by the CDC team, hundreds of workers donated generously throughout the day. Several stopped by for a chat and relayed that the cause was close to their hearts, stating how important it was for them to do more than just remember our veterans’ sacrifice at this time.

Fujitsu also demonstrated its support in the lead-up to ANZAC Day, raising $914 through the sale of Legacy Bears and badges on 23 April.
Reflecting on the importance of the campaign, Phoebe Rahn, Social Impact Specialist said:
ANZAC Day holds deep significance across our communities, and at Fujitsu, we are proud to recognise and support those who have served – including our own veterans, reservists and their families. It's meaningful to me to support Legacy as a way to honour sacrifice, show respect and remind us of the importance of peace."

Amazon participated in workplace fundraising in the lead up to ANZAC Day, with a table set up in the Melbourne office throughout the week. Led by Amazon’s veterans’ committee, the Melbourne Warriors, they were able to raise $1975.00 to support the families of veterans!
These efforts, together with support from many other fundraising efforts across Melbourne, demonstrate the enduring community spirit that surrounds ANZAC Day and Legacy's mission.
Melbourne Legacy extends its sincere thanks to all those who contributed, including the teams at 120 Collins Street, Supacat, and the many individual donors.
Together, these workplace fundraising initiatives raised more than $24,000 for Melbourne Legacy, making a meaningful difference to the lives of our beneficiaries.
